Crazy thought
Ok crazy thought... Caleb could already be on this earth.
Referrals from what i cant tell are usually 1 to 6 month old babies. That means he is probably already here! Crazy!
I hope he is being well cared for.

That is such a wild thought! It's crazy to think that he could be down there chillin' in the children's home, and you're up here dying to meet him. Wow. If he has been born, I hope he's getting lots of cuddles - in preparation for his homecoming, since after that he probably won't be put down!!

And he's been born with you two wonderful mommies in mind!! Can't wait til you get to see the beautiful boy!!!!!!

Timelines in adoption are fascinating to me. In spite of the fact that our process took almost a year and a half, Grace was probably conceived right about the time we started the process, and she was born right about the time our dossier went to Ethiopia. Some might call it coincidence. I prefer to think of it as part of the miracle that brought the perfect baby for our family, on just the right day.
You're so right that this last part of the wait is the fun part. Enjoy!!
