Someone’s Timeline
Here is a timeline of someone in our agency adopting a 6 month baby boy. This is what our timeline will probably look like… Again our dossier was sent to Ethiopia in December.
July 7- Dossier sent to Ethiopia
Jan 15 - Referral
March 8 - Case submitted to court
April 5- Court date
May 5 – Travel
I know a lot of people wonder what the hold up is to referral or what happens after.. Hope this helps :-)

I like to think the hold up is that the baby that is just meant for you is not ready yet. Time and Time again I hear from Adoptive parents who say the baby they are placed with was a perfect match for their family and was born to be in their lives. You don't hear bio parents saying things like that normally.
Wow the wait is nearly as long as China. {hugs}

What do you think are the chances that you guys will get to travel before the courts close? I am sure that you are getting anxious and very excited.
